Love handles are something nobody wants. Calling them “muffin tops” or other endearing names does not change the fact that they are not very nice to look at, not to mention unhealthy. Fortunately, if you are ready to shed these extra pounds, you are perfectly capable of doing so. You can take practical steps to get rid of your love handles.
Won't it be nice when your clothes fit nicely on you, with nothing sticking out? We will now look at strategies that will enable you to lose weight, including your love handles.
Start out by moving around. Walking around the block, for example, can be healthy. A treadmill would be a good purchase, if you do not want to exercise outside of your home. Walking in front of the television can be entertaining. Maybe you can dance around to some good music. Being active is key, regardless which activity you choose to participate in. Because the weight will not come off if you are just sitting around. Sitting around just causes you to gain more weight. The last thing you want is for your love handles to get bigger, right? It is common knowledge that some carbohydrates are good and some are bad. Good carbohydrates are typically found in fruits and vegetables and provide energy for your body. Carbohydrates that your body just stores are found in fatty and junky foods and are refereed to as bad carbohydrates. Try to reduce the number of bad carbohydrates that you take in every day. It is harder to burn empty calories than calories that come from good food.
You can do a lot more in general if the muscles in your back are strong. This can help you lose any extra back fat, which in turn will eliminate any of the muffin top appearance. When your back muscles are strong, you are also in better condition for many other types of exercise, and your posture is better. While your back is important, you also have to concentrate on other body parts as well! We tend to think love handles are endearing, since they sound so cute and fun. On the contrary, they are often a source of embarrassment, irritation and an annoyance. I don't know of anyone who likes it when their waist exceeds their pant size. If you want to lose this excess fat though you can! There are lots of ways to healthfully drop inches and use up the fat that you have stored on your body. So if you choose to work hard and are patient with the process you should see your love handles shrink.
